Principal's Message

Welcome to Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic School! We are proud to be the only elementary school in the state of Louisiana that is both Cognia STEM Certified and a three-time National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence. It’s a great time to be a Cardinal!

For over 130 years, OLL has upheld its mission to provide a nurturing, Christ-centered environment in which all students can achieve excellence in their education, confidence in their efforts, and responsibility for their actions as they face the challenges of the ever-changing world. At OLL, we pride ourselves on recognizing each student’s individual gifts, differentiating instruction, and providing varied extracurricular offerings that cultivate each child's talents. We recognize the specific learning needs of students with exceptionalities and provide services for these students, including those identified as academically gifted.  Our outstanding and committed faculty and staff, together with our exceptional student body and dedicated families, make our school an exciting and wonderful place to learn.

The 2023-2024 school year will be my 17th at OLL and my first as principal, having previously served as curriculum coordinator and assistant principal. My husband and I are also the proud parents of a Class of 2023 graduate!
