Ms. Strahl’s Music Class

Students at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic School attend music with Ms. Mandy once a week for 40 minutes. During their music time, students participate in singing, moving, listening, and instrumental activities. Students learn about the elements of music through imitation, exploration, improvisation, creation, and literacy.

Students use instruments such as handbells, boomwhackers, and a variety of rhythm instruments. Students develop both skill and understanding in basic elements of music through experiences in singing, movement, dance, games, drama, and playing of pitched and unpitched musical instruments.
