Students have the opportunity to participate in cheerleading and dance team, as well as a number of religious/service organizations including Student Council, Altar Servers, Choir, Buddy Program, and Scouting. Local academic competitions are also offered to the students including a Quiz Bowl, an Academic Olympics, a Geography Bee, the National Language Arts Olympiad, Social Studies and Religion Fairs, the Continental Math League, Al-La-Miss Mathematics League, the AR/LAMS League, and Duke University's TIP and MAP programs. A band program is also offered to students in third through seventh grades.
Louisiana Day, Colonial Day, a Cinco de Mayo celebration, D.A.R.E. and Earth Week activities are all included in the school calendar along with Author's Teas and numerous art contests.
