Principal's Welcome

Dear Parents, 

      On behalf of the students, parents, faculty, and staff of Our Lady of the Lake School, I wish to extend to you and your family a warm welcome to our school community.   I am proud to inform you that our school is a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence and is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.  I thank you for considering Our Lady of the Lake School for your child’s formative years of education. 

I believe that it is important to create a sense of community and family in which faculty and staff work together with parents to facilitate the spiritual and academic growth and development of each child.  It is my goal as principal to increase the spiritual and faith life of all our students and to create an environment of excellence in which everyone, principal, faculty, staff, and students, work together to achieve their maximum potential.

        We are extremely proud of our students, their accomplishments, and their achievements.  Our faculty of more than fifty dedicated professionals helps to provide a strong moral and academic foundation for all our students to learn and grow.

       We realize the importance of selecting the right school to meet your child’s needs.  Currently, St. Tammany Parish offers speech and resource classes at our school; however, we are not a special education school and we do not modify the program in the regular classroom setting.  However, minor adjustments can be designed to help the student meet the program. 

      Our Lady of the Lake School prides itself on academic excellence and service to the community.  Our outstanding and committed faculty and staff together with our exceptional student body make our school an exciting and wonderful place to learn.
